Human Rights and Democratization: United States Foreign Policy Toward Nicaragua in 1978-1983


Abstract

This paper focuses on US foreign policy toward Nicaragua as applies to commitments toward fostering human rights and spreading democracy. Presidents Carter and Reagan had different methods to achieve this goal, but their policies are much alike.
