Abstract

This paper reviews the contribution of light and electron microscopy, surface structure and cytochemistry (acid phosphatase, Beta-glucuronidase, Alpha-naphthyl esterase, and PAS reactions) in the recognition and classification of normal and abnormal lymphocyte populations.
