Copyright
Whereas the United States Society of Education through Art (USSEA) is undertaking to publish the Work in its journal, and whereas you desire to have the Work so published, now therefore in doing so you grant and assign the entire copyright for the Work to USSEA for its exclusive use. The copyright consists of any and all rights of whatever kind or nature now or hereafter protected by the copyright laws of the United States and of all foreign countries, in all languages and forms of communication, and USSEA shall be the sole proprietor thereof.
Reprints and Permissions
USSEA permits authors, readers, and third parties to reproduce material from the Journal of Cultural Research in Art Education for use in other publications or entities. Examples include incorporating a figure in a presentation, posting an abstract on a website, or reproducing a full article in another journal. While some permissions are granted free of charge, others may require a fee. For detailed information on permissions and applicable terms, please consult USSEA's guidelines below or contact the publisher directly.
For reprints, the document must be clearly identified as having been originally published by the Journal.
The Author retains the following non-exclusive rights:
- To reproduce the contribution in whole or in part in any printed volume (book or thesis) of which they are the author(s).
- The author and any academic institution where they work at the time may reproduce the contribution for the purpose of course teaching.
- To reuse figures or tables created by the Author and contained in the Contribution in oral presentations and other works created by them.
- To post a copy of the contribution as accepted for publication after peer review (in locked Word processing file, of a PDF version thereof) on the Author's own website, or the Author's institutional repository, or the Author's funding body's archive, six months after publication of the printed or online edition of the Journal, provided that they also link to the contribution on the publisher's website.
*The above use of the term 'Contribution' refers to the author's own version, not the final version as published in the Journal.
To protect the copyright in the Work, the original copyright notice as it appears in the Journal should be included when the Work is reprinted, published, or posted according to this agreement.
