Abstract
There are currently several formidable substantive and procedural difficulties facing consumer class actions. These problems arise primarily because the actions seek recovery of money damages for large groups of individually powerless consumers. This Note offers restitution as an alternative to damages in class actions, and analyzes the substantive and procedural ramifications of the suggested remedy under the federal antitrust laws.
