Six Copyright Theories for the Protection of Computer Object Programs

Abstract

Before a program can be run by the computer it must be translated into a detailed series of instructions readable by a computer. The translation is called an object program. This Article discusses the problems inherent in copyrighting these programs and possible solutions to those problems.
