NCAA v. Board of Regents and a Truncated Rule of Reason: Retaining Flexibility without Sacrificing Efficiency

Abstract

This Note suggests that the Supreme Court is in the process of developing a new rule of antitrust analysis. Calling the new approach a truncated rule of reason, the author concludes this represents the Court's efforts to promote judicial flexibility in the antitrust field.
