Bias and Interest: Should They Lead to Dissimilar Results in Judicial Qualification Practice?

Abstract

Current federal judicial disqualification practice utilizes different standards in addressing interest and bias, and thus yields conflicting results. This Note argues that the same objective standard should be applied to both factors.
