PNEUMOMEDIASTINOGRAPHY: TECHNIQUES FOR STUDYING INTRATHORACIC LYMPHADENITIS
- BK Sharow
Abstract
Accumulated experience from 500 pneumomediastinographies performed by various means is the background for the choice of approach we believe best suited to the pathology and site of each lesion. Gas was introduced by transsternal, paraxiphoid, and less frequently retromanubrial approach. Presacral and subcotal-subdiaphragmatic approches were used for indirect gas introduction
