Abstract
The traditional extraordinary writs of mandamus, prohibition, and certiorari have been combined into the new Special Action Rules, effective in Arizona as of January 1, 1970. The new rules provide a single simplified procedure for all three extraordinary remedies, while leaving the substantive law unchanged.
