The Uniform Consumer Credit Code and the National Consumer Act were drafted to give the consumer greater protection in every aspect of his credit transactions. The comment compares selected portions of the two codes and suggests how they may be improved in their treatment of debt collection practices, repossession, exemptions from attachment, the holder in due Course doctrine, and waiver of defense clauses.
