The Implication of Lehnhausen v. Lake Shore Auto Parts Co.: Weakening or Eliminating Equal Protection for Corporations as a Class

Abstract

This article focuses on the status of corporations with respect to the equal protection clause following the Supreme Court's decision in Lehnhausen. After discussing the case the author concludes that corporations will not be afforded equal protection against discriminatory treatment in tax classification and other business related fields.
