The National Collegiate Athletic Association: Fundamental Fairness and the Enforcement Program

Abstract

In examining the NCAA and its rules enforcement structure, the author argues that member colleges and universities have a property right in the athletic revenue generated by their athletic programs. The author suggests procedures to be used by the NCAA to ensure fairness in light of the possible serious financial harm involved.
