Abstract
The author traces the development of the physical invasion test in the law of inverse condemnation to its current status as a expounded in Loretto v. Teleprompter Manhattan CATV Corp. The effect of the current law on cable television installations is analyzed, and the author offers suggestions to states wishing to expedite CATV installations without violating the rules of Loretto.
