Abstract
The negotiation process is receiving increased attention from the legal profession. One aspect not receiving adequate attention to date is regulation of the conduct of the lawyer as negotiator. The author proclaims the need for a specialized body of legal rules which recognizes the lawyer-negotiator's obligations to both clients and other parties involved in the process.
