Abstract
The quantification of Indian Reserved Water Rights is complex and problematic. Ambiguities in the law, obsolete federal Indian policies and inconsistent state court decisions impede the quantification of these rights in both the litigation and settlement process. This Note explores the ambiguities of the law in this area and suggests several guidelines to facilitate the quantification of these rights in either context.
