Abstract
The CUP, commitment to underserved people, program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson (UACOM-T) is a student-developed, student-led program that provides opportunities for students to serve their community. It is a collection of programs that include free medical clinics, screenings, health care education, and mentoring to underserved populations. Beyond gaining clinical skills, CUP allows students to understand the health care needs of the community and the role of medical education in various populations.
